Lead software engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead software engineer to join our Development team. As a Lead software engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading a talented group of developers and analysts in the creation of high-performance microservices for the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management and a deep understanding of microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, system analysts, and business analysts to deliver high-quality microservices solutions
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and expertise in Java, Spring, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, REST API, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL to ensure the successful development of services
• Project Management: Collaborate with product owners to plan and execute project development, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
• Microservices Architecture: In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions
• Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that arise during development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend and backend developers, QA engineers, automation testers, system analysts, and business analysts to achieve project objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience (minimum 6 years) in frontend/backend/fullstack development
• Previous experience (minimum 4 years) in team leadership
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions within deadlines
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus
• Russian language is a plus
